Few know the power of teamwork better than SunShine Hampton. In 2010, she and her father relied on one another as co-contestants on the Biggest Loser. 285 pounds lighter between the two of them, this terrific twosome are coming to this year’s Girlfriends Expo & Getaway, giving you a chance to sit down with them and take part their inspirational story.

Their informal forum will take place on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. during the event.

These two are living proof that you can do much more with somebody by your side. SunShine feels that she would never have succeeded in dropping 114 pounds if it hadn’t been for her father cheering her on. “I’d tried but I was scared. My dad sat me down and said, ‘You are going to do this! You have to learn to go around the obstacles.’ It kept me going.” During her weight loss transformation, her father was both her cheerleader and her rock, pushing her harder and being there for her during the roughest days. While O’Neal’s cardio and workout technique were superior to SunShine’s, she excelled at the nutrition portion. “That made for a great team. We pushed each other in the areas where the other person was weak.”

SunShine learned a lot about herself and about life that she is eager to share with you at the event. “While on the show, I learned how to accept and love myself. Gary can also tell you how to report scams, so that you can help prevent other women from falling prey to the scavengers of the world
